Because my US army did quite well during Road to Berlin campaign, I could roll something different on painting station to give eyes some rest from olive green everywhere. Recently I had little chat with buddy yet from high school times, and it turned out he's still playing Warhammer Fantasy with his local group. This kinda made me to excavate, assemble and paint one of chariots for Slaanesh Chaos army (it's basic version - it evolved a bit later on).
I had lots of fun painting undead chariots, so there was that idea to add pair of these death-dealers to the Slaanesh force as well. No idea are these effective at all or not (don't think these ever will see the battlefield anyway) but they look ace. And that's basically it.
Contrary to undead models, this one was pain in the ass to paint - models had to be painted separately and asselmbled after done... Sure this way you can give more attention to every part, but it also makes painting process much longer and simply boring.
Wasn't sure about that purple / violet tone at first, but looking at whole piece assembled and varnished matt - I think it's ok. Pretty believable for Warhammer Fantasy standards. This unit is pretty clean (horses seem to be walking rather slowly) but there's one more coming with sorcerer on it, which should be much more gory...
So here it is: another 130 points crossed off the list:
